This is a 2-week phlebotomy certification prep course in which students receive training to earn a National Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). Students must complete 30 successful venipunctures and 10 successful capillary punctures from human sources before they are deemed eligible to take the exam.
This program includes the Department of Health HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, and Prevention of Medical Errors continuing education requirements (CEUs). Upon completion of this program, the instructor will provide a certificate to the student verifying that these requirements have been met.
REQUIRED**A textbook is available for purchase from the training center for $60.00.
Class days & hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (Morning Class) & 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Evening Class)
