Cardiac Monitor Technicians function as an EKG Technician with patient care experience. Their duties are to oversee cardiac monitors and notifying nurses of arrhythmia, print monitor strips per policy and protocols, document rhythms and to provide high-quality patient care. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will perform meaningful work in helping diagnose cardiovascular conditions. By administering EKGs — testing the electrical activity of the heart through small electrode patches attached to the body — you’ll be making a life-changing difference by helping people of all ages prevent and treat heart disease.
